A little bit about me...
John is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) and has more than 30 years of commercial real estate, business incentives, and corporate expansion, relocation, and economic development experience. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma. John is well-versed in the commercial and industrial real estate sectors by assisting national and international companies with strategic site selection, state and local economic development incentives, workforce strategies, and overall location optimization. John spent more than 6 years in Austin, Texas working for the Office of the Texas Governor as a Corporate Recruitment Director for both Governor Ann Richards and Governor George W. Bush. Prior to joining the Office of the Texas Governor, John was a Vice President for the Lubbock Board of City Development where he spent most of his time recruiting new business to the region and solidifying existing business retention programs and initiatives. John is able to put his knowledge and skills to valuable use when working with employers, tenants, and property owners to visualize and validate their goals and objectives and fulfill their business aspirations. He is an avid sailor with bareboating experience in both the US and British Virgin Islands and enjoys making new business contacts, playing golf and spending time with his family and friends.
