Art was born and raised in Carrollton, TX.  He attended Texas A&M University then transferred to the University of Texas at Dallas where he received his Bachelors in Finance and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.  His business background makes him great at property valuations and negotiating deals on behalf of his clients.
